The complete structure of the NanoSolveIT framework is perfectly aligned with the concept of safer-by-design (SbD), as defined in NANoREG and extended in the NanoReg2 project. It integrates complementary in silico modelling approaches, supported when necessary by testing tools such as HTS and in vitro tests. The work within NanoSolveIT is organised to achieve the major objectives of the project, via seven R&D work packages (WPs 1-7), supplemented by two cross-cutting WPs (8-9) and an ethics WP (10) addressing the needed management and dissemination activities.
This structure involves all partners interacting within a seamless and coordinated workflow to address the objectives of the project. A key component of NanoSolveIT is the early engagement with stakeholders and the drive to collaborate with end-users of the models and IATA from the design phase. Each WP is subdivided into specific tasks that explore different aspects of these objectives.
