Work Package 5 (WP5) focused on the development of cost effective nanoinformatics tools and models based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the prediction of crucial nanomaterials (NMs) functionalities and adverse effects. The focus will be on data-driven metamodels and predictive models that find complex relationships between descriptors and physical characteristics of NMs with functionalities and adverse biological effects, with particular focus on MIEs, KEs and AOs in AOPs, thereby bridging work package 3 and work package 4. The result will be informative system-independent molecular descriptors from molecular representations of NMs, image analysis, and machine learning-based AI feature generation and detection technologies
